Appropriate tyre pressure ensures about 18 percent less wear and tear and five percent less fuel consumption. The system helps to prevent blowouts, which results in fewer accidents, fewer traffic jams and the trucks can keep on driving. This is why the government is subsidising transporters who install this system. You can get these subsidies until the end of 2019.
